93digital founder named as The Drum’s Agency Rising Star

After being included in the BIMA Hot 100 of the most influential people in the UK’s digital industry in April of this year, 93digital founder Alex Price has been recognised in another industry award.

In the busiest and most competitive year of The Drum Network awards in history, Alex went on to win the hotly contested ‘Agency Rising Star 2016’ award.

After a shortlist of 8 nominees was announced in October, Alex was named as winner of the award in recognition of the results 93digital achieve for clients, and the growth achieved for 93digital from a small freelance business into one of the UK’s fastest growing, award winning specialist digital agencies.

Judges for the awards included leading digital and marketing executives from brands such as eBay and B&Q, as well as senior management from some of the UK’s largest agencies, including Razorfish and SapientNitro.

Commenting on the award, Alex said: “2016 has been an incredibly exciting year for 93digital, picking up a series of awards and seeing year on year growth of over 115%. Personal awards such as this are really a reflection on the hard work of the entire 93digital team, and their tireless work supporting our clients in achieving their goals.”
