Soldo’s superstar team of internal designers lead the design of their site, whilst we partnered with them since 2019 to provide enterprise grade WordPress development, technical consultancy and support.

Before we started working with Soldo, their site was slow, lacking flexibility and missing design & UX consistency. The page builder plugin used to power their CMS had taken them as far as it could, and their approach to multilingual was causing performance & SEO issues.

With ambitious growth targets, Soldo needed a website that provided best in class scalability, stability, consistency, security, speed & performance, particularly given some complicated multilingual and localisation requirements.

They knew they wanted to stick with WordPress, but they needed WordPress done properly and delivered by expert partners. WordPress that was fit for a security conscious, performance focused, rapid growing FinTech.

We redeveloped the Soldo site from the ground up, partnering closely with their internal design, UX, SEO & digital marketing teams.

We also led the design of a new magazine section of the site, helping Soldo to drive top of funnel growth through a content-led SEO strategy.

The approach to multilingual and localisation that we implemented helped to improve speed through an optimised database structure, providing a scalable framework for Soldo to roll out localised versions of their site as they entered new markets across Europe.

Finally we worked closely with our hosting partners WP Engine, to ensure Soldo had the underlying infrastructure to support their security, performance and growth, with the 93digital team leading the migration of the site to new servers.
