Following on from his multiple inclusions in the BIMA 100 over the last number of years, we’re happy to announce that 93digital founder Alex Price has been anointed as one of two to judge the results of the ‘Rising Star’ Category for 2019.
Already a member of BIMA’s young talent council, which aims to bring opportunity, help and advice for young people looking to get into the digital industry, Alex has previously featured in the BIMA 100 on two occasions, both in the Rising Star category. Alex was also named as The Drum’s Agency Rising Star in 2016. He will be judging this year’s nominations alongside Giulia Merlo, Service Design Lead for Cancer Research UK.
Alex had this to say on being asked to judge: “I’m very honoured to have been asked by BIMA to be a judge of this year’s Rising Stars category. The list of nominees is bursting at the seams with talent, so this is going to be a tough one”
Founded in 1985, the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) is Britain’s digital community and one of the most widely respected names in the digital industry. Everything BIMA does is future focused and embodies its values of innovation, enabling the community, celebrating individuals and embedding diversity into the digital ecosystem. BIMA’s mission is to drive innovation and excellence throughout the digital industry, and this is apparent in their range of activities including Digital Day, the initiative whereby UK agencies offer to give up some of their time to talk to schoolchildren up and down the country, persuading them of the exciting opportunities a career in digital can offer. This is something 93digital participate in every year.
