Internal Day: March 2022

What’s better than a happy team of website designers, developers and digital marketers? A well-trained and happy team of website designers, developers and digital marketers! 

That’s why we set aside the last Friday of every month to focus on team skill and knowledge development. It’s safe to say the team conquered a lot on our March internal day, and definitely deserved their relaxing weekends in the sun (a rarity for the UK in March!)

Developers

On internal days, our developers make sure our starter WordPress theme is in ship shape by fixing bugs, adding plugins and optimising the framework. Last Friday, they worked on a security header, and wrote documentation for added consistency when setting up sites. Hiten wrote a blog post on WordPress plugins (soon to be released!)

Designers

In the fast-paced world of B2B website design, our designers aim to stay ahead of industry trends. On this internal day, they looked at new tools, resources and references for B2B website design, and created a processes document to enable smoother operation. 

Project Managers

Our project managers are pretty on top of things when it comes to process, time and team management. Last Friday, they wrote a checklist for project kick-offs and personal development plans. Joss wrote a blog about why ongoing support is essential for marketers following a site post-launch. 

Digital Marketers

SEO 

Our team of strategists researched for new SEO tactics that they implement in client work. They completed an SEO training course and wrote an article on best SEO practices for B2B tech and SaaS companies.  

PPC

Just like our SEO team, our PPC team is growing rapidly! They took this internal day to make sure onboarding documents are ready for new starters.
