We’re London’s leading WordPress agency. We’re growing quickly, and looking for an account director who is passionate about the digital world and gets a buzz out of creating and growing awesome client relationships to join our team, working alongside our project managers, designers and developers. The position will report directly in to our MD.

Our new account manager will have:

– An eye for great design
– A good understanding of technology (knowledge of both the WordPress CMS and analytics would be a big bonus)
– A strategic business focus, with a keen interest in the latest developments across digital marketing and strategy
– Exceptional client facing skills
– First class oral and written skills
– The experience and confidence to interact with key stakeholders, including at the most senior level
– Excellent attention to detail
– A proven track record of building prosperous client relationships
– Experience of successfully managing expectations across
– An ambitious, commercial and analytical mindset
– Experience working as an account manager or above in a digital agency, specifically with design and development experience

Roles and responsibilities will be to:

– Get to know our clients business inside out in order to represent them and their objectives
– Act as an internal client to shape our work and drive continued business value
– Build rapport with our clients to become a trusted partner and extension of their team
– Own the details and fine print – and be accountable for them from start to finish of our projects
– Spot key opportunities for our clients in the fast, ever changing world of digital – across design, development, SEO and wider digital marketing and strategy
– Spot opportunities for us, flying the flag for us at events and new business opportunities
– Work well under pressure, being able to jump between multiple accounts and help manage a busy studio schedule alongside our project managers
– Be curious about the digital world and the clients we work with, backed up by a rich and ever expanding knowledge of the digital world
– Advise clients on new projects, gather requirements and help to prepare proposals and pitches
– Communicate regularly with clients, managing expectations calmly and with clarity, whilst being willing to have tough conversations and tackle situations head on and with transparency
– Learn fast, bring new ideas to the table and gain the respect of the team and clients
– Know the numbers, and be keen to expand commercial knowledge around agency finances
– Retrospectively review completed projects to ensure we continue to drive client success
– Report back to our MD with internal and external issues and events that might impact upon accounts, either positively or negatively
