We’re a fast-paced and fast-growing digital agency and London’s leading team of WordPress specialists, looking for a digital project manager to join our team and take the smooth delivery of our website design and development projects to new levels.

Fascinated by digital, you will take ownership of multiple website design and development projects concurrently, working directly with clients and our internal design/development teams to deliver innovative projects on time and on budget, whilst seamlessly managing expectations, change requests and client satisfaction.

You’ll be reporting in to our Project Director and proactively driving projects forwards, stepping up to the challenges and basking in the fulfilment of conquering them, taking the reins of projects, and translating client needs across every area of your project team.

Requirements:

  • A talented and personable Project Manager with 3+ years of digital agency experience
  • Ambitious, energetic, enthusiastic and driven Project Manager with a track record managing multiple projects side by side
  • Experience of managing website design and build projects, including product understanding of the WordPress CMS
  • Happy to get stuck in to every task from functional specs to QA – a team player but also be equally comfortable running small projects autonomously
  • Able to move between taking a top level overview of projects and being hands on with the detail as needed
  • Strong expectation management skills
  • Excellent time management skills, organisation and communication skills
  • Confident in managing clients, internal design and development teams and contractors at both a local and global level
  • Good eye for creative work, good technical understanding and strong attention to detail
  • Experience with different delivery methodologies

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, engage and motivate your team to success
  • Primary point of contact with the customer on matters relating to the project
  • Responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, including supporting pre-sales, project planning and estimating, cost tracking and reporting and risk and quality management
  • Ensure that all project organisation members understand their roles and responsibilities and are held accountable, including members of the client team
  • Work with our Project Director to manage resourcing around the project team, working with the design and technical lead to plan and assign work
  • Facilitate work for the production team to enable them to deliver project outputs in accordance with project plans, costs & to the customer’s expectations
  • Prepare SoWs, functional specifications, project plans and other required documentation to keep projects on track and ensure smooth delivery
  • Undertake Quality Assurance across projects as required
  • Bridge the gap between our technical team and clients, communicating technical solutions with clarity
  • Ensure all work is produced in accordance with appropriate processes, and that opportunities for improvement are identified and agreed
